About Salihundam
A hilltop complex of stupas, chaityas and monastic cells on the south bank of the Vamsadhara, occupied from the 2nd century BCE to the 12th century CE. Relic caskets and Tara and Marichi images found here are in the site museum; the river view alone justifies the climb.
