About Ahobilam
Ahobilam in the Nallamala hills is where Narasimha is said to have slain Hiranyakasipu. Nine shrines — the Nava Narasimhas — are scattered across Lower and Upper Ahobilam, several reachable only by forest trails; the Ugra Stambham pillar-rock trek above Upper Ahobilam is the most demanding and most rewarding.
