About Udayagiri Fort
Udayagiri's fortifications climb the Sanjeevi hills 100 km from Nellore — built by the Gajapatis, taken by Krishnadevaraya in 1512 and later held by the Nawabs. Temples, mosques and gateways survive on the slopes with wide views over the plains.
