About Pulicat Lake
The second-largest brackish lagoon in India straddles the AP–Tamil Nadu border, separated from the sea by the Sriharikota barrier island. On the Andhra side, from Atakanithippa and Sullurpeta, flamingos, pelicans and painted storks gather from November to March.
