About Bhairavakona
In the Nallamala foothills near Ambavaram Kothapalli, eight 8th-century cave shrines are cut into a cliff beside a waterfall, with a Durga image carved into the rock face. It is one of the state's least-known Pallava-style monuments and a wonderful monsoon picnic.
